Retired Transportation Security Inspector (TSI) Donna Goetz' expertise is in the area of Cargo and Aviation Inspections with the Transportation Security Administration. In this capacity, she has dealt with the intricacies of the multitude of cargo programs and regulations.
At her basic inspector training, in 2004, Donna received the Donnie Blazer Award in recognition of exceptional academic achievement, given to the top Inspector in the class. In 2011 Donna was selected as the Wisconsin TSI of the Year, as well as completing her Instructor Development and OJT Instructor training.
She has taught the Cargo and Aviation Basic and Advanced Inspection curriculums at both the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City, OK, and at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Brunswick, GA. Donna also provided intensive On the Job Training (OJT) for ten other Cargo Inspectors.
In 2015, Donna assisted in revamping Cargo Inspections training at FLETC, and in 2016, she helped to develop Inspector Cross Training and assisted in improving the OJT program at TSA.
After college at the University of Illinois, Champaign Urbana, Donna began her professional career in law enforcement; spending 8 years as an undercover narcotics agent in Illinois. She went on to become a criminal investigator for the Illinois Attorney General's Office.
Donna entered the private sector as the Midwest Regional Manager for Covert Operations for an international private investigations agency. She went on to open her own private detective agency in Chicago.
She was selected as the Executive Director for a child sexual abuse investigative agency, after which, she and her husband retired and moved to Wisconsin.
After 911, Donna felt the call to return to public duty and joined the brand new TSA in 2002 as a screener supervisor. In 2004, she joined the Regulatory arm of the Agency.
In 2017, Donna started FedCom in order to take anxiety and stress out of air cargo regulations for businesses, providing a full-service way to stay fully compliant all the time.
